Cosplay is everywhere. Conventions are going on all the time, events are being held at bars around town and having an amazing costume to be seen at any of these is a must! As any good cosplayer knows a lot of effort goes into creating costumes and those little touches and fine details make all the difference.
Casting for Cosplay - Claire Tennant WorkshopCasting – be it life or object can be a handy investment for a cosplayer. Making a mould of a weapon or your face could save some time and energy in the future with creating replicas or new costumes based off previously made ones.

Here are a few ways in which I can help with casting for cosplay creations.

Accessories Casting
Moulds can be created to create and replicate weapons for your cosplay. Once a mould has been created these can be used to remake a weapon if yours is lost, stolen, or broken in your excitement of scene re-enactment.

Replicating Multiple Items
Small items like bullets, badges, jewellery and other small props can be created en masse to great effect. You might even like to have a collection of small tokens/ props that can be given to like minded souls like a calling card.

Life Casting
A life cast can be done to assist with costume making. Prosthetics can be made from your mould ranging from full-face masks to elvish ears.

Cosplay Chris recently came and saw me for some life casting and you can watch his YouTube video on his experience and what was involved.

Feel free to contact me to discuss any casting for cosplay needs you may have.
